Crynodeb
You will be required to: Provide all GP services required Respond to medical problems presented by patients, including history taking, examination, investigation, diagnosis, treatment and referral where appropriate Provide appropriate preventative health care and advice Adhere to the practice prescribing formulary, local and national guidelines Make professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other health care workers within the organisation Record clear and contemporaneous I.T. based consultation notes to agreed standards Compile and issue computer generated acute, and repeat prescriptions Support practice staff, and respond to requests for advice and assistance from the reception, secretarial, prescription, PA and nursing staff Attend MDT, clinical and practice meetings Provide additional enhanced services to the practice that meet the needs of the patient population and maximise income streams to the practice Awareness and compliance with all relevant practice policies/guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety, and QOF In general the post Holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care Person Specification: Usual GMC GP qualifications must apply
