Forklift Driver – Tredegar
£13.79 per hour | Rotating Shifts | Monday to Friday | Temporary Role
70% Production / 30% Forklift Duties

Nu Staff are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver to join a well-established manufacturer based in Tredegar. This is a great opportunity for someone with a valid forklift licence who is comfortable working across both production and warehouse duties – with around 70% of the role involving production work, and 30% operating a forklift.

This is a hands-on role in a well-organised manufacturing setting, ideal for someone with mechanical know-how and a strong attention to detail.

Shifts:

• Rotating Weekly Shifts:

  • Mornings: 6:00AM – 2:00PM

    
    

  • Afternoons: 2:00PM – 10:00PM

    
    

  • Nights: 10:00PM – 6:00AM

    
    
    

  • Monday to Friday only

    
    

    Pay:

    • £13.79 per hour

      
      

      Key Responsibilities:

      • Assemble products using hand tools and machinery

        
        

      • Ensure quality checks throughout the production process

        
        

      • Operate logic controllers and production equipment

        
        

      • Move raw materials and finished goods using a forklift (valid licence required)

        
        

      • Perform routine checks on machinery and maintain a tidy work area

        
        

      • Work closely with your team to support smooth production flow

        
        

        What We’re Looking For:

        • Valid Forklift Licence (essential)

          
          

        • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment

          
          

        • Mechanically minded with experience in tooling/fabrication

          
          

        • Comfortable using hand and power tools

          
          

        • Excellent attention to detail and a reliable work ethic

          
          

        • CAD experience is a bonus, but not required

          
          

          Location:
          Tredegar – candidates must be able to commute reliably
