We are seeking to appoint a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant and Lunchtime Supervisor to join Welland Primary School.
These roles will be 2 separate contracts.
Teaching Assistant (Fixed-term contract linked to an EHCP)
Teaching Assistants are valued members of our School Team. They play a full and welcomed part in the life of the school, sharing in social events and sometimes running after school clubs or leading a curriculum subject or area of school life.
Experience of working with children is essential as is a willingness to be a full part of our school team. The successful candidate should be able to work under their own initiative.
We are committed to the on-going professional development of all our staff. The successful candidates will receive support and mentoring as well as access to appropriate professional development courses and development opportunities.
Hours: 22 hours and 45 minutes, Monday – Friday, 9.00am - 3.30pm. Term-time only plus 8 professional Development days.
Salary: TA2, SCP5, £13,093 per annum.
Lunchtime Supervisor (Permanent):
In addition, for 3 days a week, the successful candidate will also work as part of a team to ensure the welfare and safety of all children at Welland Primary within the school grounds or buildings during lunch times.
Hours: 4 hours and 30 minutes, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Term-time only.
Salary: TA1, SCP2, £2,370 per annum.
Monday – Wednesday (Lunchtime Supervision) there is a planned 30-minute unpaid lunch break. On Thursday’s and Friday’s there is a 1-hour unpaid lunch break.There may be an option for a job share.
Total salary for both roles: £15,463 per annum.
