We are in search of Telesales/ Collections Account Managers to join our client's successful collections team.
Our client is a well-established, vibrant and dynamic office situated in the heart of Truro. Renowned for their progressive and positive work environment, our clients thrive on hard work and dedication.
Training will be provided; however, successful candidates will already show the key attributes and skills to succeed.
Their Training and Development manager will be on hand to guide you through your initial weeks and months. Their telesales team are all committed to converting calls to commissions and expect you to have the same drive and enthusiasm for turning conversations into commissions!
Job Description:
As a Telesales / Collections Account Manager you will play a critical role in their team by communicating with both commercial and consumer customers to recover and collect outstanding arrears prior to litigation. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, building rapport with customers, and maximising collection outcomes on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Contact customers with outstanding arrears to negotiate payment terms and schedules.
• Manage a portfolio of accounts, ensuring effective and efficient recovery.
• Maintain strict adherence to compliance, GDPR, and quality standards.
• Work towards and exceed weekly and monthly targets.
• Operate both independently and as part of a team.
• Participate in in-house training for professional and personal development.
Ideal Candidate Attributes:
• Demonstrated skills in negotiation and conflict resolution, including a high level of resilience
• Positive attitude when handling difficult conversations.
• Strong drive to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Ability to provide clear and transparent information to customers.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Basic IT skills.
• Essential telephone experience.
Pay and Benefits:
• Starting Rate: £15.00 per hour with opportunities to increase up to £25.00 per hour.
• Commission: Competitive commission-based reward structure in addition to salary (OTE £40,000+).

Work Schedule:
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
• Weekend: Saturday (1 in 3), 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
