The Folkestone Rainbow Centre is a charity supporting people facing hardships and deprivation in the Folkestone and Hythe district.
We are seeking a Winter Shelter Coordinator to manage all aspects and oversee the daily operations of the Winter Shelter, a service offered to homeless individuals from December 1 to February 28. This role plays a crucial part in our mission to create a safe space from which clients can be supported to move on to other accommodations. The service is supported by volunteers and churches, who provide evening meals daily on a rota basis.
Your responsibilities include developing and maintaining relationships with clients, staff, and volunteers, as well as administering the service, all geared towards maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our clients. This role requires a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to excellence.
