Job Title: Civil Engineers – Plymouth Shipyard (Security Clearance Required)
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Job Type: Contract
Contract Length: Approximately 12 months (rotation may be considered)
Hours: Approximately 37 hours per week
Salary: Competitive – rates to be proposed (LTD/Umbrella)

Job Description:
We are seeking to recruit four qualified Civil Engineers for an upcoming project based at Plymouth Shipyard. This is a long-term contract (approx. 12 months), with the potential to accommodate rotational working patterns depending on candidate availability.
You will be working on a high-profile infrastructure and defence-related project, requiring both technical capability and eligibility for security clearance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Carrying out civil engineering works on a major shipyard infrastructure project
• Supporting construction and refurbishment efforts to meet technical and safety standards
• Working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams on-site
• Ensuring compliance with UK construction regulations and client specifications

Essential Requirements:
• Must be a UK citizen, born in the UK (to meet SC Clearance eligibility)
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering
• Ability and willingness to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
• Previous experience in large infrastructure, defence, or marine/shipyard projects preferred
• Strong understanding of UK health & safety and building regulations

• Contract duration: Approx. 12 months
• Working hours: Approx. 37 hours per week
• Rotation schedules may be considered
• Rates: To be confirmed and proposed during application process
• Security vetting support will be provided to successful applicants
