About the Job:
We’re looking for an Apprentice Painter to work alongside our experienced team of operatives. As an Apprentice Painter, you will work as part of our Asset Operations Team to learn your trade. You will be trained to carry out all aspects of Painting and Decorating work and you’ll learn some basic multitrade tasks including plumbing and joinery too.
You’ll train through a mixture of work-based and college based learning. Attendance at college and passing all assignments within the given timescales is essential in gaining your trade qualification.
This apprenticeship will be a fixed term contract for 4 years and whilst there is no guarantee of a permanent job with us at the end of the apprenticeship, you will gain your trade qualification and we think you’ll be in a great position to take the next step in your career.
About You:
You should hold a minimum of a National 5 qualification in both English and Maths. You should have some experience of working in a team, basic knowledge of Health and Safety, the ability to provide good customer service and to use your initiative.
To be eligible for an apprenticeship you must be aged between 16 to 24 years old and not in full time education.
