Are you an experienced care professional with experience in Community support and a genuine passion for empowering others? We are looking for a confident and adaptable leader to step into the role of Team Manager. In this position, you will oversee dedicated teams providing support to individuals with learning disabilities in a dynamic and fulfilling environment.
Your background in care, particularly within community-based settings will enable you to bring a person-centred approach, a strong commitment to delivering high-quality support, and the leadership skills needed to inspire, guide, and develop your team. This is a diverse and fast-paced role that demands resilience, exceptional organisational abilities, and the confidence to manage evolving situations with ease.
• Location: Leading the teams across one supported living service and 1 community service in Swansea, SA1
• Hours: Maternity cover for 10 months (37 hours), Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm
• Salary: £31,354 + excellent benefits
About the Role

As Team Manager, you’ll lead a team of staff , working closely to deliver high-quality, person-centred care across a Supported Living and Community service in Swansea. One service supports 2 individuals and the community service support 22 individuals.

You’ll be responsible for service delivery, compliance, team development, and ensuring the needs of individuals are met with compassion and professionalism.

You’ll work alongside the Registered Manager to:

Deliver services in line with RISCA, Care Inspectorate Wales, and Social Care Wales standards
Lead recruitment, supervision, and development of your team
Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory frameworks
Manage referrals, rosters, and service delivery plans
Support individuals with their individual complex needs
Collaborate with families, professionals, and partner organisations
Use IT systems confidently to manage data, rosters, and reporting
Participate in the on-call rota and support other services as needed
What We’re Looking For

Experience in care, particularly in domiciliary or community-based settings
Proven leadership experience in adult social care
Strong IT literacy and organisational skills
Knowledge of HR and recruitment practices (desirable)
Understanding of compliance, safeguarding, and regulatory frameworks
QCF/ NVQ in Health & Social Care (and willingness to work towards Level 4)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
