About the Role:
As a Support Worker, you will provide essential support to individuals in both our Younger & Older Adults Units within our clients care home. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
Supporting with meals and monitoring liquid intake
Providing companionship and emotional support
Promoting independence and well-being
Observing & monitoring the resident’s general wellbeing, reporting & co-ordinating with other staff members.
What We’re Looking For:
A caring, compassionate, and reliable attitude
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous care experience is essential – full training will be provided
Right to work in the UK
Ideally working towards or hold an SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
An Understanding of National Care Standards and Codes of Conducts
Ability to always maintain confidentiality
SSSC Registration or willingness to register within the specified timescale.
