Summary
Are you an experienced Maths Teacher looking for your next opportunity in Birmingham?
Winner Education are working with a secondary school in Great Barr who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher from September. This is a full-time, long-term supply role where you will be delivering engaging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, helping students prepare for their GCSE and A-Level exams.
Key Responsibilities:•
Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons
•
Adapt your teaching to meet different abilities and learning needs
•
Create a positive, focused learning environment
•
Support students’ progress towards GCSE and A-Level exams
•
Monitor and assess pupil performance, giving regular feedback
•
Work closely with the Head of Maths and wider team
•
Support revision and intervention sessions when needed
•
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and effort
•
Attend parents' evenings if required and contribute to school life
The Ideal Candidate Will:
•
Have recent experience teaching Maths in a UK secondary school
•
Be confident teaching Maths at GCSE, and ideally A-Level
•
Hold QTS or a Maths degree with relevant teaching experience
•
Be confident supporting students with additional needs (SEN)
•
Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills
•
Be flexible, professional, and a team player
