The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to take full supervised responsibility for the commercial function on a project or section of a project.
Remuneration and benefitsAlongside an excellent salary package of 40-65k Per Anum, you will also be entitled to Accommodation allowance, flexible working arrangements, plus many more benefits on offer to you.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
- Contribute to a result as agreed with local commercial management.
- Protect the company’s position throughout 360 degree relationships.
- To carry out commercial tasks and present results in an orderly and accurate format.
- Develop commercial skills to proactively contribute to the commercial success of the business.
- Prepare standalone sections of applications and reports.
- Review incoming accounts and correspondence and react accordingly.
- Manage specified subcontract accounts and support senior commercial staff in negotiations.
- Agree a personal development plan and deliver the objectives.
- Contribute to the development of subordinates.
- Carry out duties for collaborative working in line with the client Procedure for Collaborative Working and the JRMP (Joint Relationship Management Plan)
- Any other duties consistent with your status and seniority, as necessary to meet the needs of the Business of the Company.

You will have the following qualifications & experience
- A detailed understanding of the general and specific contract and subcontract terms.
- A knowledge of the techniques and processes involved in delivering the works.
- NEC 3 / 4 contract experience.
