I am working with a business looking to take on a Maintenance Technician on an afternoon shift basis. Working with a leading manufacturing business, this would be well suited to a candidate experienced in the field of maintenance engineering who is multiskilled, with either electrical or mechanical bias. This position will provide you the opportunity to finish early on a Friday, join an employee owned business and gain private medical cover after an extended period with the business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To ensure the smooth and efficient running of plant and equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdowns
- Implement 'Quick fixes' to return production equipment to use in a safe way, ensuring product quality requirements are met.
- Work towards implementing permanent countermeasures to the root causes of breakdowns
- Contribute to formal breakdown investigation team activities
- Supply suggestions and feedback into the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance system
Requirements
- Manufacturing background.
- Experienced in a maintenance role.
- Multiskilled background - either mechanical or electrical bias.
