Summary
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Older Adult CMHTs, part of Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust.
As a registered nursing associate, you will be a member of the multidisciplinary team, helping to deliver bespoke physical and mental well-being interventions. This is a new addition to the OA CMHTs as part of the wider mental health community transformation.
The post holder will be predominantly providing care for service users suffering from serious and enduring mental illness. Offering nursing interventions in a wide variety of clinical, therapeutic and social forms with the aim of promoting health, wellbeing, self-autonomy and independence.
The post holders will be required to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team in the delivery of high quality mental health care planning and risk management. This work will involve patients and their carers in the delivery of evidence based interventions/treatments, recovery focused work.
The nursing associate will work independently under the leadership of the registered nurse, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process.
