Blackpool and The Fylde College (B&FC) is currently seeking a motivated and experienced Lecturer in GCSE Maths to join our fantastic team, following an internal promotion. This is a brilliant opportunity to inspire learners, support academic achievement, and contribute to a dynamic and forward-thinking department.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
As a Lecturer in GCSE Maths, you will play a key role in the development and delivery of high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning. You will be working with students who are currently working at grade 3 and aiming to achieve a grade 4 as part of their study programme. Your main duties will involve:
Delivering and managing inclusive learning, teaching, and assessment to a high standard.
Being fully conversant with programme regulations and specifications to ensure best practice.
Supporting curriculum design, development, and continuous improvement.
Assisting in quality improvement initiatives within the curriculum area.
Monitoring student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, and providing targeted support.
Supporting student recruitment activities including interviews, IAG, Open Days, and curriculum events.
Contributing to the academic community through scholarship, research, and professional practice.
