Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team and help drive excellence in the production of our critical components.
As a CNC Machinist at Johnson Elevanja, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to manufacture precision brake components in accordance with engineer-ing drawings and specifications. You will play a key role in ensuring product quality and production efficiency in a fast-paced, safety-first environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and/or multi-axis machining centres.
Interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
Perform CNC programming or editing using Fanuc control systems
Conduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and gaug-es.
Ensure all parts meet tight tolerances and customer specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues or tool wear.
Maintain a clean and organized workstation and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize processes.
Perform routine machine maintenance and report any equipment issues promptly.
Qualifications:
Technical qualification in production machining or manufacturing technology desired.
Minimum 3–5 years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment.
Experience working with close tolerances, various metals, and complex parts.
Proficiency with machine shop maths and inspection tools.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards is a plus.
Ability to lift up to 25kg and stand for extended periods.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
