About the role

We are looking for a part-time Print Assistant to join the team in the Design and Print Centre (DPC) at the University. This is an exciting time for the University and the DPC team as we deliver a University transformation project to bring in-house print back to the campus and undertake all staff and University print on site. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, self-motivated person, keen to learn new skills, to join our friendly team. Your main responsibility will be the daily production of the University's documentation and marketing materials using high performance print production machinery and finishing equipment. Responsibilities also include appropriate administrative duties on a daily basis such as advising customers on their print requirements and liaising with service areas.

You should have a good level of IT skills and have experience, or the desire to learn print management application systems. Enhanced numeracy and organisational skills are also required along with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

This is a part-time position working 22.2 hours per week on a permanent basis.

Due to the nature of the role, unfortunately we are unable to accommodate working from home.
