Care and Custody is one of the leading providers of outsourced public services in the UK and we are seeking to recruit an Operational Improvement Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Performance Team within Care and Custody at Mitie.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join our fantastic team and help us make a positive difference for our staff and service users.
Job Overview
-This role will deliver improvement opportunities, working with colleagues across the division to scope, develop and implement operational projects and initiatives, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
-The post holder will be expected to project manage and deliver operational improvement opportunities. This will include taking a lead on implementation of new processes and pathways, and working with key stakeholders to undertake improvements to services where needed.
-The post holder will lead delivery of a variety of projects, which will be focussed on delivery of operational, performance, quality, workforce and financial priorities, and involve working closely with site-based teams across Care and Custody.
What we are looking for
-You will be someone with excellent interpersonal skills and a 'can do' approach! You will take a lead role in Improvement projects, delivering operational, performance, quality, workforce and financial benefits for the organisation.
-You will be someone with demonstrable project and operational delivery, excellent organisational, communication and problem solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
The role will be based at our Head Office, located within The Shard, but frequent travel to sites across the UK will be required.
Specific Requirements

-You must be a British Citizen, EU citizen with settled status, or have an ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain) from a Commonwealth country
-Bankruptcy history, CCJs, social media activity and criminal convictions will be closely scrutinized
-You must have lived in the UK for the past three years with no significant footprint outside of the UK other than for normal holidays
