Summary

Oliver’s Rainbow Nursery is seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents will be essential in fostering positive relationships within our nursery setting.

Duties include-

Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring a safe and organised environment.
Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress, achievements, and any concerns.
Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive team atmosphere that encourages professional development and leadership within the nursery.

Skills required -

Strong command of English to effectively communicate with children, parents, and colleagues.
Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is highly desirable.
Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and positive attitude.
Demonstrated leadership skills to inspire and guide fellow practitioners.
A solid understanding of early childhood education principles and practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with children and families.
A proactive approach to problem-solving within the nursery environment.
