Job Summary
We are seeking an assembler to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly process, ensuring that products are constructed accurately and efficiently. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
Assemble components and products according to specifications and drawings.
Utilise hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks.
Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
Report any issues or defects in materials or equipment to the supervisor promptly.
Assist in inventory management by tracking parts and materials used during assembly.
Requirements
Proven experience in a similar assembly role is preferred.
Strong understanding of assembly processes.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and instructions.
Experience working in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Good physical stamina, with the ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
