Summary
Danum Homecare are looking for compassionate people to join our team of Care Assistants for the Skellow area.
To join our team and make a real difference delivering care to the vulnerable adults in these communities, previous Homecare experience is desirable or a past employment in a care setting. Full training and support will be provided.
You will need a full driving licence with your own vehicle.
You will be working in small teams supported by a care coordinator.
Who would make an ideal care worker? We’re looking for people with the following attributes;
• Kind, caring and compassionate
• A good listener who is patient
• A happy ‘people person’
You will be responsible for assisting people in their own homes with their daily needs & supporting them in the local community.
As a care worker, job tasks will include personal care, meal preparation, assisting with medication, shopping, cleaning, and escorted outings.
All suitable candidates are required to undergo an enhanced level criminal record disclosure.
