We are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking and highly motivated Family Support Worker to join our friendly and dedicated team. You will have experience of working face to face with children and families in supporting them to make the most of their education and time in school. You will be able to work well on your own as well as part of a team.
You should be experienced in working alongside children, families, key staff and external agencies including being part of the early help process. You will have experience and qualifications in supporting and delivering parenting workshops (i.e. Webster Stratton), have therapeutic skills such as ELSA, counselling skills or similar and be able to work with families on matters relating to emotional well-being, safeguarding, information and advice on benefits and other pastoral matters relating to the family.
Our school has been judged outstanding by Ofsted and we require a Family Support Worker who can share and contribute to our high standards and expectations.
Hours of work: 8.30am – 3.15pm (with ½ hour for lunch). Working days can be discussed at interview.
