Job Description
Post Title: Technical Officer (HMO)
Location: S&L Community Services, Broom Place, Portree
Hours: 35 hours per week
Duration: Permanent
Salary: £28,665 - £31,376 p.a.
Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Job Purpose: To assist in the identification, enforcement and licensing of premises throughout Highland Council which require to be licensed as short term lets.

Requirements
Experience or background in a housing, building surveying role or a role which included conducting property inspections.
Access to personal transport*, and a commitment to regular travel across the
Council area. (Travel throughout Highland will be required)
Given the nature of this job, you will be required to make visits away from your normal base. A driving licence is highly desirable, but consideration would be given to you making alternative arrangements as long as these meet the operational requirements of the Service.
