Location: Castle Bromwich, Birmingham (B36)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay: £455 - £480 per week

A welcoming and supportive pre-school in Castle Bromwich is looking to appoint a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team this September. This is a full-time role working with children aged 3-5 years, supporting their early development and preparing them for a smooth transition into Key Stage 1.

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting whole class learning within the pre-school setting.
- Providing additional support to pupils with Special Educational Needs, including those with ASD, ADHD, and speech and language needs.
- Monitoring and recording pupils' progress to support transition into KS1.
- Leading small group sessions to help prepare pupils for KS1.
- Supporting social, emotional, and communication development.
- Contributing to a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.

What We're Looking For:
- A relevant Level 3 Early Years or Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience working with pre-school children (ages 3-5).
- A strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum, with some familiarity with KS1 expectations.
- Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD and speech and language development needs.
- Confidence in assisting classroom delivery and leading transition preparation activities.
- A caring, patient, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
