Salary: £95-£105 per day
Contract Type: Long-term to Permanent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
Start Date: September 2025 (Interviews/Trial Days Happening ASAP)

Are you looking for a meaningful role where you can genuinely support young people? Long Term Futures are seeking a committed teaching assistant to join a specialist school in LE18, Leicestershire, which supports fewer than 100 pupils aged 4-16 with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

As a teaching assistant focused on SEMH support, you will play a crucial role in helping pupils thrive in a small, nurturing educational setting. You'll collaborate closely with teaching staff to support students in managing their emotions, developing social skills, and engaging with learning in a positive and structured way.

Key Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support Role:

Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH needs.

What We're Looking For in a Teaching Assistant - SEMH Support:

Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH or other additional needs.

Background in any child-focused or youth-facing role (Youth Work, Sports Coaching, Residential Care, Social Work, Youth Offending, Probation, or similar).
