37 hours per week, term time only

Atherton St George’s CE Primary is on the lookout for a dynamic, motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant who’s ready to make a real difference.
Thanks to five years of secured funding, we’re building a future focused on SEND excellenceand we need someone with the skills and heart to support and lead learning across our school.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic HLTA to join our friendly and caring Christian school. This role will involve:
- supporting teaching and learning in classes
- planning and preparing lessons when the class teacher is not available
- delivering support to small groups to help improve outcomes for pupils.
- Support learning, deliver interventions, make change
This role would also suit a graduate who is considering undertaking a teaching qualification in the future.
The successful candidate would:
- Be flexible and open to new ideas
- Be a team player
- Fully support the ethos and aims of the school
- Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations
- SEND experience or specialism welcomed
