Crynodeb
To provide administrative support to the PPC/MDT Co-Ordinators to monitor the patient journey from referral, through diagnostics, treatment planning and treatment, highlighting any potential delays in the pathway and ensuring accurate data collection to support the process in accordance with Departmental, Trust and Network guidelines . To provide administrative support to the PPC/MDT Co-Ordinators to highlight relevant patients to the clinical team for discussion at the Multi-Disciplinary Meeting (MDM), and to ensure that the MDM coordinator receives all relevant information for the patients to be discussed To maintain up-to-date knowledge of all targets and processes relating to Cancer management and to be a point of reference within the department. Recording data in a timely and accurate manner on paper and electronic systems To undertake administrative duties including: scanning, collating, distributing and sending out patient letters; opening and distributing post; updating Department databases; checking stationery stocks; photocopying and filing. To assist the department in ensuring the Trust fulfils its requirements to collate, maintain and input data relating to cancer strategy. To assist in developing an enhanced use of Information Technology and identifying new ways of working to streamline processes.
