An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to support DT Department at Oakfield Academy in Frome working 16 hours per week, term time only plus 2 INSET days. This role is varied, and we are looking for an adaptable, flexible and resourceful individual able to cope in a high-pressure environment and deal with constantly changing priorities. The role would suit someone able to be flexible with working hours between 8.45am-3.30pm which may vary on a weekly basis. Food hygiene and machinery experience would be ideal but training will be provided.JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Maintaining a safe and positive environment for all learners.Creating opportunities for all learners to reach their potential, irrespective of ability.Working with a wide range of class teachers to deliver excellent teaching and learning.Coaching children on a 1:1 or group basis.Supporting assessment and evidencing learning.Working with the teacher to create stimulating learning resources.Accompanying pupils on trips. There are three pay points within the grade and the post holder will move through these points, increasing their salary each April.This role will require an enhanced DBS with a clear outcome, you will also need to have right to work in the UK documentation.
