Salary: £34,653
Location: Inscape House School, Schools Hill, Cheadle, SK8 1JE.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Reports to: Headteacher
About Us
Inscape House School is a non-maintained specialist day school for children and young people aged 5 to 19 years with autism spectrum conditions. We are proud to be part of the Together Trust, a long-standing charity that has been providing care, education and support across the North West since 1870.
We are now seeking a professional and highly organised Personal Assistant to support our Headteacher and help drive the smooth running of our school.
What You’ll Do
As the Personal Assistant to the Headteacher, you will play a vital role in the leadership support function at Inscape House School. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage the Headteacher’s diary, including meetings, appointments, and travel.
- Prepare agendas, presentations, and documents for meetings.
- Take accurate minutes and distribute them promptly.
- Support school and Trust-wide projects by tracking progress, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Liaise with school leaders and members of the Trust’s combined leadership team.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with staff, parents, governors, external agencies, and the wider community.
- Represent the Headteacher in communications when appropriate.
- Analyse data and extract key insights for reporting purposes.
- Prepare concise reports and briefing documents.
- Produce high-quality reports, letters, and presentations.
- Maintain accurate and efficient filing systems (both digital and physical).
About You
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, professional, and committed to supporting high-quality education and leadership. You will have:
- Level 4 qualification (or equivalent) in business, administration, or education-related field.
- Experience in a similar PA or executive support role.
- Experience of managing projects and events.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of computer literacy, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to produce reports and presentations with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused and professional approach.
- Friendly, flexible, and adaptable to change.
- Discreet and trustworthy when dealing with confidential information.
