Through a trauma-informed approach, the school empowers students to re-engage with education and gain confidence both academically and personally. What You'll Do
  • Deliver tailored, engaging Maths lessons suited to students' individual learning plans
  • Support pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH and associated SEN needs
  • Track progress, set personalised goals, and adapt teaching approaches accordingly
  • Use therapeutic strategies to support behaviour and emotional development
  • Work closely with pastoral staff, therapists, and parents to ensure holistic support
  • Uphold safeguarding policies and contribute to a safe, respectful learning environment

What You'll Bring
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) - essential
  • Experience teaching Maths to students with SEN (SEMH preferred)
  • Strong grasp of EHCPs and personalised education planning
  • Confidence in adapting curriculum content for diverse learning styles
  • Calm, consistent behaviour management and communication skills
  • A reflective, flexible, and student-centred teaching approach
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
