The Role
- Lead the preparation and delivery of the monthly management accounts pack
Balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis, and key financial insights.
- Spearhead talks with investors by delivering confident presentations.
- Oversee supplier payments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency is maintained
- Work to company deadlines
- Manage and develop a small team of two Management Accountants
- Drive commercial decision-making through detailed financial analysis
- Work closely with other departments
- Take ownership of financial controls
- Stock taking and auditing returns
- Work to the continuous improvement of the wider business
The Candidate
The ideal Financial Controller will be:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent with strong commercial acumen
- Ideally from an FMCG background
- An advanced MS Excel user
