Summary

Pest Control Operative needed in Bolton, £14.13ph PAYE - Reference: 000A 3373 / 1

1. Responding to complaints and requests for service across the borough (or in an allocated, defined geographical area of the Borough).
2. The risk assessment of service requests.
3. Compliance with Health & Safety requirements in accordance with the policies of the Pest Control Service.
4. Determining the nature of the infestation and the pest involved.
5. Selection of the appropriate pesticide (seeking specialist guidance where necessary).
6. The preparation for and the laying of baits, poisons and traps.
7. Any follow-up treatments or visits which are required and the collection and proper disposal of rodents and other pest species.
8. The collection and submission of all monies collected in relation to Client charges.
9. Securing additional contract work from the Commercial sector and assisting in pricing in accordance with the current policy of the service.

This is working full time hours on temporary contract.
