I keep busy through the day; I enjoy getting out and about in the community as I am a real people-watcher and love different environments. I have my own car and like to get out and about in it.
At the end of a fulfilling day, my housemates and I need to know that we will all be safe and well supported overnight. That is where you come in.
When it comes to supporting us overnight, we require someone who has good values, patience and can shows empathy. As a wakened night shift worker you will respond to us and support us in the ways that we need to be supported and will be part of the fantastic team working together to help us enjoy living in our wonderful home.
Our Barrhead Project is based in the East Renfrewshire area of Glasgow provides a housing support & care at home service to adults with learning and physical disabilities. The project provides practical day to day support to individuals, helping to promote a positive, active and healthy lifestyle and facilitating community inclusion, above all having fun!
