Job description
We’re a proud family-run nursery, rooted in the heart of the Crewe community — and we’re excited to be celebrating 11 successful years of caring for and educating little ones!

As our nursery continues to grow, we’re looking for dedicated and passionate Qualified Early Years Practitioners to join our JoJo’s family. If you’re someone who truly cares about early childhood education and believes in creating a warm, nurturing space where children can thrive, we’d love to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:

A genuine love for working with children
Patience, kindness, and understanding — values at the very heart of our setting
A team player who is committed to providing high-quality care and learning experiences
Someone who brings positivity, creativity, and a sense of fun to the role
Why Join JoJo’s?

A supportive and caring team who uplift each other every day
A strong community spirit — we’re more than just a workplace
A place where your wellbeing and growth are valued
An opportunity to make a meaningful difference in children’s early development
Hours Available:

27 hours over 3 days
36 hours over 4 days
45 hours over 5 days
If you’re ready to nurture, inspire and grow with us — all while having lots of fun — then we’d love to welcome you into our nursery family.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and engage children in daily routines and activities within the nursery setting.
Plan and deliver stimulating, age-appropriate activities that promote all areas of development.
Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum to support high-quality early education.
Foster strong communication with children, families, colleagues, and external agencies.
Work collaboratively as part of a supportive team, contributing to a positive and motivating work environment.
Guide and support children's learning through effective observation, interaction, and reflection.
Ensure the nursery remains safe, clean, and well-organized, following all relevant health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent) – essential
Previous experience working in an early years or nursery setting
Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Strong communication skills – both verbal and written
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and on your own initiative
A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude towards working with young children
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
A current DBS check (or willingness to obtain one before starting)
