Job Title: Beauty Technician
Location: Colchester
Contract Type: Temporary
Hours: Part-Time, 3 days per week
Morgan Hunt are delighted to be working with a leading FE college in Colchester to recruit a Beauty Technician. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about the Hair & Beauty industry and looking to support learners and staff in a vibrant, student-focused educational setting.
- Organise and maintain the Beauty salons and reception area
- Manage and administer salon equipment and resources
- Maintain accurate stock control and carry out regular stock takes
- Prepare purchase orders and receive deliveries
- Ensure salon cleanliness and professional presentation at all times
- Support staff and students with day-to-day salon requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Beauty
- Good IT skills (IT qualification preferred)
- GCSEs (or equivalent) at grade C/Level 2 in English and Maths
- A commitment to safeguarding and willingness to obtain Level 1 Safeguarding & Prevent
- A proactive and organised approach with strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in a college, salon or reception setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
