Production Planner

Production Planner required for a fast paced and challenging role in manufacturing. The role would suit either someone with previous experience production or logistics planning.

As the Production Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Day to day logistics contact for supply chain partners (customers, suppliers, carriers
- Responsible for planning production & procurement
- Ensure availability of components and packaging for production
- Analyse customer requirements
- Ensure customer requirement integration in ERP system (From EDI, mails, customer portals)
- Follow customer deliveries on time
- Realise MPS planning and follow-up of production service rate, optimising stock and resources
- Realise the supplier requirement planning, optimising stock and transport costs
- Manage transport requirements with carriers
- Realise regular analysis on logistics KPI, identify the root cause and build the actions plans to achieve the target
The role Production Planner would suit a candidate with:
- Ideally previous planning experience in a manufacturing environment
- Great organisational skills, proactive and with a logical and analytical approach
- Good problem-solving skills adaptable and flexible
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of MRP or ERP SAP would be an advantage
- Experience in demand and capacity planning
- Your own transport is essential
