Crynodeb
To support the development of the South of Tyne Clinical Pathology Services, an opportunity has arisen for a permanent Associate Practitioners (Band4) to join a friendly professional team within our Point of Care Department, the post holder will contribute to the provision of the clinical laboratory service, as part of a team of Biomedical Scientists and support workers, which provide a service across the three hospital sites; Gateshead, Sunderland and South Tyneside. The Gateshead site is a new state of the art laboratory with all staff rotating into this area to train on new processes The purpose of the post is to ensure that the Point of Care Department is able to meet the needs of the service both now and in the future with particular focus on point of care research based activities . Staff will be required to rotate across all laboratory sites and participate in the departments shift rota pattern.
