At our beautiful care home, part of the Care Concern Group, we’re looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our night team. You’ll play a vital role in leading by example, ensuring our residents receive the highest quality of care and that every shift runs smoothly and supportively.

Your Role
As Senior Care Assistant, you’ll:
Lead with confidence: Coordinate night shifts, delegate tasks, and guide the care team to deliver outstanding support.
Support residents: From personal care to companionship, you’ll prioritise dignity, independence, and comfort at every turn.
Administer medication: Safely manage and record all medications, following best practice and our policies.
Document with care: Keep accurate and up-to-date care plans and risk assessments that reflect each resident’s individual needs.
Communicate clearly: Work closely with residents, families, colleagues, and healthcare professionals, ensuring warm and professional communication throughout.
Respond to needs: Act quickly and calmly in emergencies, showing confidence and compassion.
Be a role model: Help create a positive team culture where people feel respected, supported, and inspired.
What We’re Looking For
- SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards it)
- Practical medication administration experience with up-to-date competencies
- A kind, caring and fun personality – you’ll bring warmth, energy, and emotional intelligence to the team
- Proven team leadership skills – able to delegate, support, and inspire those around you
