Summary
We are looking to recruit full-time and part time Kitchen Assistants to join our team

Key Responsibilities
Prepare trollies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, ensuring timely delivery and prompt collection after meals.
Assist in meal preparation under the direction of the cook, including supporting the head chef with baking cakes for afternoon tea as needed.
Load and operate the dishwasher efficiently and/or wash up by hand when required, ensuring all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are thoroughly cleaned, dried, and stored correctly.
Maintain the dishwashing area in a clean and orderly condition at all times, including cleaning sinks, counters, and surrounding floors to meet hygiene standards.
Adhere strictly to the kitchen cleaning rota, ensuring the entire kitchen is hygienically clean, with floors mopped regularly.
Assist with the ordering and prompt storage of supplies delivered to the Home.
Attend and actively participate in staff meetings, mandatory training, supervision sessions, and appraisals, preparing as necessary.
Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, relatives, visitors, and professional agencies regarding residents.
Follow fire safety policies and food hygiene regulations, ensuring full compliance.
Understand and implement all current policies and procedures related to your role.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information encountered during your duties.
