We are working with a Structural Engineering consultancy based in London who are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Façade Structural Engineer with a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in a consultancy environment.

You will join their growing team of specialists to deliver structural design and analysis of façade systems on a variety of complex and high-profile projects.

Key Responsibilities for Façade Structural Engineer:

  • Provide structural engineering expertise for façade systems including curtain walling, cladding, glazing, and bespoke façade elements


  • Work collaboratively with architects, contractors, and other consultants to develop integrated façade solutions


  • Prepare calculations, specifications, and reports in line with project requirements and industry standards


  • Carry out site inspections and coordinate with fabricators during construction phases


  • Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, regulations, and sustainability targets


    Requirements for the Façade Structural Engineer:

    • Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng or BEng)


    • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a façade or structural engineering consultancy


    • Solid understanding of materials such as glass, aluminium, steel, and composites


    • Experience using structural analysis software (e.g., RFEM, Robot, ANSYS, or similar)


    • Strong communication skills and ability to present technical concepts clearly


    • Chartered or working towards chartership with IStructE, ICE, or similar is a plus
