Crynodeb
We are looking for a caring and supportive PA to work with our 15-year-old son, to build confidence and develop social skills. He enjoys playing sports (particularly Cycling), music, playing instruments and spending time outdoors (e.g. with horses).
A good knowledge of Autism is preferred and some knowledge of safety plans is a bonus. We would like someone who understands the importance of equal opportunities whilst supporting our son.
We see starting employment, with the right candidate, initially working within our home to build a relationship; this will then lead to supporting outside of the home. There will be an element of helping the family around the house; this is from working with our son.
We have a dog and a liking to pets is essential
You will need a full clean driving license and use of your own car is required for this role.
Hours we can offer are 10 hours per week, which will be mutually agreed. This could be a weekday and/weekends.
Rate if Pay is £14.00 per hour, with 4 weeks paid holiday (pro rata) plus bank holidays is applicable, as is access to a workplace pension.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check (provided) and will start as soon as a clear check is received.
