Deputy Home Manager – Residential & Dementia Care – Up to £38,000 | 3–4 Shifts per Week
Looking to take the next step in your care career? Our client, a beautiful care home is looking for an experienced Deputy Home Manager to help lead their team and ensure residents receive the kind of care they’d want for their own loved ones.
As Deputy Home Manager, you’ll support the Registered Manager in running the service and maintaining high standards of care and compliance. You'll lead by example on shift, provide guidance and supervision to care staff, and ensure residents receive the respectful, individualised care they deserve.
You’ll be a key point of contact for staff, residents, and families alike – combining leadership with a hands-on approach and a strong presence on the floor.
About You:
- Previous experience as a Deputy Home Manager or similar senior role within a care home setting
- A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or above)
- Strong understanding of dementia care, care planning, and safeguarding practices
- Confident leadership skills and the ability to inspire and support a team
- A warm, approachable manner and a genuine commitment to person-centred care

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Home Manager in leading and motivating the care team
- Oversee and contribute to care planning, reviews, and assessments
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and CQC standards
- Mentor and support care staff with supervision and development
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, and professionals
- Promote dignity, independence, and respect in all aspects of care
