Key Responsibilities for Cleaner Caretaker:
To support the running of the Horizon Hub or KGV Hub, ensuring it is clean, welcoming and safe. To support with keyholding planned around bookings and ensuring our customers have a great experience.
Key duties:
• Ensure that the hub is opened for hirers at the agreed times and that the building is secure af-terwards.
• Use initiative, ensuring the hub is clean, tidy and safe for hirers.
• Carry out specific cleaning as instructed by your line manager.
• Advise your line manager of restocking requirements for cleaning products monthly.
• Liaise with hub managers and the maintenance team to report anything broken or not working safely/correctly.
• To be able to rectify small maintenance faults, such as changing light bults, fuses, batteries.
• Set up furniture and equipment for groups where required.
• Complete daily, weekly, monthly Health and Safety Checks in the building (training given)
• Welcome visitors to the hub as they arrive and deal with any queries they may have.
• Be personable and able to communicate with customers.
This role may require weekend and evening working to suit the needs of the Hub. Flexibility is key to this role. (KGV Hub role is fixed hours and days, so flexibility is less of a requirement at this site).
