SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: King’s Lynn, Norfolk
Hourly Rate: £13.68 - £14.90
Contract: Monday – Friday (0830 – 1530)
Start Date: September 2025
We’re looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to join a specialist provision supporting children with social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). Our nurturing, trauma-informed approach focuses on helping every pupil thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Support pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
Assist with learning, behaviour, and emotional development
Work one-to-one or in small groups
Help maintain a positive and inclusive school environment
Ideal Candidate:
Experience with children/young people (SEMH/SEN experience a bonus)
Calm, adaptable, and resilient
Builds strong, trusting relationships
Passionate about inclusion and wellbeing
