About the role:
You will work on a night shift basis in a Children’s Home within South Powys. The home supports 4 children/young people aged 5-18 with behaviours associated with a learning disability, complex needs and autism. You will create a safe, healthy, learning, fulfilled home where children have their voices heard to achieve positive outcomes in their lives.

What you will do:
• You will work on a night shift rota to provide continuous care as part of team to the children and young people living in the home.
• You will build positive relationships through nurture, teaching connection before correction with a patient and calm manner.
• You will promote healthy and safe routines by creating a warm, inclusive home supporting the day care team through continuity and structure within the home at the start and end of each day.
• Work in partnership with families and carers of young people in achieving the aims and objectives of the young people’s plans.
• You will follow agreed policies, procedures, and legislative standards in your work.

This position has a requirement for an enhanced DBS check
