WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE
MACCLESFIELD
We have an exciting opportunity for a warehouse operative to join our client's team.
Company Benefits are Pension contributions, Private health care, cycle to work scheme, 25 days holiday + bank holidays off and sick pay.
Monday to Friday the start time is 7.45am till 4.30pm
Salary: £27,350pa
Duties:
Picking and packing customer orders for daily shipments
Receiving and processing the weekly stock shipment, accurately checking off stock with also putting stock in correct stock locations ready for future picking.
Transacting and shipping customer orders producing correct paperwork for shipments, commercial invoices as and where needed for certain countries.
Stock control / stock movements / stock takes where necessary
Loading and unloading trucks with FLT / Use of reach truck in warehouse
Perform duties as required in understanding company goals and policies providing fast, friendly and accurate documentation for stock and shipping paperwork
Update and maintain stock records keeping stock accurate and available.
Perform duties required to keep the order processing and warehouse flowing smoothly
Filing shipping / order paperwork
Arranging parts kits and service boxes for our service team a head of a site visit as and when needed.
Communicate by email and phone with all company employee’s as and when needed.
Keeping the warehouse tidy and a safe space to work with your team members.
Qualifications/Skills Required
Fork Lift truck license ( Counter balance / Reach truck) is required
This is a very hands-on role and the person appointed will ideally have previous experience within a warehouse department / picking and packing shipping role.
Good attention to detail is essential.

Good computer skills. Email / Word / PDF editor /shipping software ( DHL / FedEx)
Experience in picking and packing and shipping customer orders is essential
Good communications skills
Good Telephone manner
