Contract: Monday – Friday (0830 – 1530)

About the Role:
In this key role, you will work closely with the SENCo and classroom teachers to support pupils with special educational needs, ensuring they have every opportunity to thrive in a nurturing and engaging learning environment. You will also play a vital role in leading and mentoring other support staff and contributing to the wider development of the school’s inclusive practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted interventions and in-class support for pupils with a range of SEN
- Assist in planning and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs
- Monitor pupil progress and contribute to review meetings and EHCPs
- Support the emotional wellbeing and personal development of pupils
- Collaborate with external professionals and families as needed
- Model best practices and support other TAs in their roles
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting
- A relevant Level 3 qualification or higher
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, resilient, and flexible approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young learners to achieve their full potential
