A lovely family in Camberwell is looking for an afterschool nanny to care for their two school-aged children who attend local schools. They’re hoping to find someone flexible and committed for the long term, who can offer a balance of warmth, fun, and gentle authority. The family is also open to adding morning hours on 2–3 days per week, if preferred. Both parents work from home one day a week.
For candidates interested in extra hours, there’s an option to take on four additional hours of housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry. A valid first aid qualification is essential, and being able to speak Italian or travel with the family would be a bonus.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Duties include:
preparing healthy meals and snacks
helping with homework
doing after school activities with the children
preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
doing arts and crafts
taking the children to parks and playgrounds
preparing them for bed and reading them stories
The ideal start date is in late August or early September 2025.
