Summary
Completely care is working with a well-known care company to find agency senior care workers in the Cwmbran area!
Shifts: Days and Nights
As a senior support worker you will:
Oversee and supervise the shift, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
Liaise with other health care professionals, staff and families.
Assist with the administration of medication.
Work in a person centred way, ensuring the needs of the client are at the core of the service you provide.
Assist with moving and handling of the service users, operating equipment such as hoists in line with safety policies.
Provide assistance with daily activities such as personal care, light domestic duties and meal times.
Offer companionship and be a friendly face to the service users.
Manage documents and records to ensure they are up to date.
Requirements:
6 months UK senior care experience.
Training in medication administration.
NVQ Level 3 in health and social care
An enhanced DBS or willingness to undertake one.
A caring personality and a strong desire to support others.
