What you'll do:
As an ICT Operative, you will play a vital role in elevating campus cleanliness by delivering comprehensive industrial cleaning services across internal and external areas. Your work will ensure a safe, healthy, and attractive environment for all campus users.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties across various areas including car parks, pathways, garden furniture, walls, ceilings, windows, and glass surfaces.
- Conduct high-level cleaning such as walls, vents, and HVAC grilles.
- Maintain outdoor fixtures like lamp posts, signage, and pedestrian walkways.
- Support pest and waste removal activities, including safe disposal of pests and bird guano.
- Assist in specialist lab cleaning in GxP and general laboratories.
- Respond to ad hoc cleaning requests via our Customer Service Portal (ServiceNow).
- Support working at height activities, ensuring safety and compliance.
- Uphold a safety-first attitude by promoting Sodexo’s Zero Harm culture and safety rules.
- Support seasonal safety efforts like snow and ice clearance during winter months.
- Support asset management and ensure compliance with all health and safety protocols.
- Support the Supervisor in ‘Permit to Work' activities, including hosting third-party contractors whilst on-site.
What you'll bring:
- Working at height, Ladder Trained, Banksperson, HSE aware
- Experience in GxP environment
- Strong focus on health and safety
- Proactive and organised, with strong attention to detail
- Customer focused and a team player with good spoken and written communication skills
