Engineer – Classic & Custom Vehicle Builds
Full Time | Permanent
We’re supporting a specialist workshop known for producing high-end custom and restored vehicles, and they’re looking to add a skilled Engineer to the team. The right person will be hands-on, methodical, and take real pride in quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engine, gearbox, and drivetrain fitting
- Suspension, brake, steering, and fuel system installation
- MIG welding and chassis fabrication (TIG preferred)
- Fitting lighting, tech features, and power accessories
- Wiring loom work and basic fault-finding
- Body panel alignment and interior fit-out
- Using build specs, checklists, and workshop tools to high standards
What You’ll Need:
- Strong mechanical and rebuild experience
- Confident MIG welder and fabricator
- Good electrical knowledge and tech-fitting ability
- Ability to read diagrams and follow build specs
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Clean, methodical approach to building vehicles
- Comfortable working solo or in a small team
